Facebot VSN Dynactron MK IV

Okay, this is one big and awesome paper toy, and so it gets a matching awesome name. The Facebot VSN Dynactron MK IV is 5 pieces of paper PACKED with parts for you to score and cut out.

The finished toy is 10 inches tall and has 10 axes of rotation!

A slightly improved design for the flat axles is built in to each disk. You'll notice one large end of each disk has little "claws" sticking out. These enable you to more easily screw the disk into their holes. Be sure to use a little bit of tape to seal the back of each entry notch in the holes, after you've screwed in each disk.

I've worked very hard to make this toy as easy to put together as I could... YEARS... really! Wait till you see what's coming up in the near future!

Sweet Robo

Here's another cute little robot toy for you to build! Sweet Robo is just one piece of paper, and uses new "single piece" flat axle construction! Fold and glue the flat axle piece into a circle. Bend the edges on one side, then screw it into it's socket on the body pieces.

This one-piece flat axle design is easier to assemble and allows for a really tight, smooth fit. Sweet Robo will hold his pose with incredible tenacity!

Shock Duck

Here's another paper toy, a duck who all-of-a-sudden can go from minding his own business to completely losing his frontal lobe capacity.

Shock Duck features a movable mouth, turning arms and a turning head using exciting flat axle technology!

Another exciting feature of the construction is that these movable limbs are literally screwed into the body. It's easier to glue together AND just about twice as fun to assemble! The step-by-step illustrated instructions will show you what I'm talking about.

Recommended building material -- 110 lb. Card Stock

Bot's Got Moves

Ilikechxmx transmuted love of music, dance and paper modeling into bits and bytes and uploaded them into green Poco Bot, who is obviously unable to contain himself. Watch him tear up the dance floor!

Poco Bot Blank

Below are links to SVG files for the blank Poco Bot design. You can open these vector files in programs such as Inkscape, Open Office Draw, and Adobe Illustrator. Since the original design was first made in Microsoft Office and later ported to Illustrator, you may notice some ghostly anchors that refuse to be deleted! Just work around them.

Poco Bot Go!

This little paper bot has 6 points of rotation and is made from one sheet of cardstock! You will get good results printing it on 67 lb coverstock as well as 110lb cardstock, or whatever else you may have that qualifies as thick paper.

The art and design of Poco Bot is based around the works of my favorite paper artists, some of whom are linked to on the left.
